1. Take one fresh French baguette and cut it into thin slices, about 1/3 of an inch in thickness. Place the bread slices on a cookie sheet. Place the cookie sheet in the middle rack of the oven. Broil for 60-90 seconds until the slices turn golden, not brown. Watch it carefully it cooks quickly. You do not need to turn the slices over, just toast one side. Remove when golden and reserve.
2. Place the gorgonzola cheese in a bowl, add 2 tablespoons of honey and fold gently. Place about 1 tablespoon of the gorgonzola mixture on each crostini and top with a slice of pear, a little more gorgonzola and a few crumbled walnuts. Lastly, drizzle honey on top.
