Radishes with Dill & Butter
1/2 pound radishes, washed & trimmed
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 teaspoon of nutmeg, grated
4 teaspoons finely chopped fresh dill
Salt and pepper to taste
½ lemon juice
Directions:
1. Add the radishes in a pot with salted boiling water and simmer for 2-3 minutes, or until just tender. Rinse in cold water and strain. Cool before slicing. Slice them thin, about ¼ inch rounds.
2. In a skillet, melt the butter over low heat, add the sliced radishes, the nutmeg, the dill, and salt and pepper to taste.
3. Heat the mixture stirring until the radishes are heated through just a couple of minutes. Squeeze the lemon juice before serving. Serve warm
